Perkins Restaurant & Bakery® Franchise Adds New Owners to Roster

Iconic breakfast franchise set to open inside an IHG Hotel property

Perkins Restaurant and Bakery®, the legendary breakfast franchise, is expanding in the Buckeye state.

The new franchise agreement is with Ohio Valley Hospitality, a highly experienced team of entrepreneurs who focus on hotel properties. After watching how well a Perkins Restaurant & Bakery did at one of their existing properties, the entrepreneurs decided it was time to get in on the action by opening a Perkins at another one of their hotel properties. Only this time, they are going to be the owners!

The new location is currently in development and is slated to open in June 2024.

“Our background is in hotels, and one of our hotels in Cincinnati has a Perkins Restaurant & Bakery. We have seen how successful the location has been and wanted to get in on the action for ourselves,” said Gurwinder Sohal, Co-Owner of the upcoming Cincinnati Perkins location.

Sohal leads the franchise acquisition with Jagpal Crewal, Arjan Singh, Jagroop Toor, and Rajinder Kumar. Supported by a successful development team at Ascent Hospitality Management, Sohal expresses his appreciation for the team, particularly Peter Ortiz, Chief Development Officer at Ascent Hospitality Management, as acquiring this location was no easy feat.
