WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED TO FRANCHISE?
Do you have what it takes to own a franchise with Perkins?
The requirements are surprisingly flexible. We’re looking for franchisees who are financially prepared to make the investment, and who are enthusiastic about starting a new restaurant in their community. Franchisees don’t need to personally manage their Perkins franchise, but they should be engaged in the process of establishing their new restaurant.
A background in the restaurant industry isn’t required, nor is experience running your own business. We have a strong training program in place to help show you the ropes!
What are the responsibilities of a Perkins franchisee?
Perkins franchisees can elect to manage their restaurant themselves, or can delegate daily operations to a trusted staff. Whichever route they choose, franchisees should be responsible for ensuring that our time-tested processes are being followed in their restaurant. They should keep an eye on the numbers to ensure that their business is growing at a healthy rate, and should be involved in working with our team to help keep their restaurant on track.

Perkins® is always looking for experienced restaurant operators to become franchise owners throughout most of the continental U.S. and Canada.
